Responsibilities of Global Data Analyst:
- Responsible for supporting SAP maintenance requests for materials, UPC/EAN, bill of materials, recipe/routings, customer, vendor, pricing and product master data. Additional support of SAP change master process, price pages, customer hierarchy, bank masters, vendor 1098 & 1099 reporting process and GS1 data synchronization. Includes the use of Infoset, Quickviewer and Winshuttle
- Master data representative on Business project teams to manage gathering of master data for new products, changes to product lines, new customers and vendors, updates to pricing and price pages; including managing the data validation process
- Participates in complex process and system cross-functional projects and initiatives. Represents GDA in business planning activities, and supports business optimization projects
- Participates in execution of tactical initiatives related to technological advances, enhancements and SAP upgrades
- Provides data consultation, knowledge and expertise, resolves data conflicts, and responds to daily inquiries from the business to manage client level data elements (business shares this data)
- Enforces established data standards, SOX controls and standard data processes
- Participates in data cleansing and rationalization efforts and customer scorecard reviews
Required Qualifications of Global Data Analyst:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Engineering, Food Science or related field preferred.
- 3+ years related business experience (in areas such as EDI, Master Data Administration, eCommerce/Data Synchronization data, Order Management, Logistics, Purchasing, Disbursements, Production, Quality, Finance, Billing, Planning, Sales) with previous experience working in dynamic cross functional team environment
- Work experience in a data analytical role
- Knowledge of Food Manufacturing, materials, bills of materials and recipe processes preferable
- Knowledge of MDM/PIM, GS1, GDSN, eCommerce strongly preferred
- SAP/ERP experience
- Excellent Excel Skills. DexEx, Lotus Notes and Internet experience preferred
